“To me, film photography is about looking at the ordinary things as extraordinary. Gives us the chance to notice better and more on the little things that are around us, there`s beauty everywhere.”

“I`ve started my journey with film photography in 2020 and at the beginning I was doing more landcapes/architecture, but recently I have moved more to streetphoto. This photo I did on some walk in Catania and once I pressed the shutter I already knew its going to be very good one. Thats the thing I love about street photo - you have to act very spontaneously and trust your instinct. It is way different compare to well prepared portraits or landscapes.”

“Film photography gives to the moments the value they deserve. It captures everything as it is, no filters, no retakes and every single shot is unique. There`s always incomparable excitement while waiting for the roll to see the results. For me shooting film is a way of honoring people and places, their beauty, inspiration and kindness.”

“I took this photo when the sky was already tinged with sunset colors and one of my favorite buildings looked majestic and gloomy.
When I take pictures, I usually rely on my inner feelings and try to find beauty in the simple✨”

“This is one of my family`s dogs when I visited home and I just happen to be going around trying to find something to take pics of and my dogs were just there. So it was very in the moment, not a lot of planning or thinking :D”

“Film photography is something relatively recent in my life and it started when I fell completely in love with my camera on a visit to an antiques store - it was love at first sight. It`s a hobby that gives me a lot of pleasure, it allows me to slow down and appreciate the little things. This photograph was taken in my hometown (Porto), which constantly serves as my canvas and muse. 💙”
